We didn't get many good sunsets while we were in Northern Idaho, but I did enjoy this night as the storm clouds mixed with the sunset.  Here is the view at night and during the day.

This was taken right near where we were staying at the Country Lane Resort a few miles North of Kingston.  I spent a lot of time out shooting the river while my family gathered around the camp fire. See a couple more shots of the river at night here and here.  Here is the same view during the day.

I noticed some clouds rolling in so I walked down to the river and set up to shoot for about an hour.  More photos will show how the clouds rolled in.  This is North of the Kingston exit about 7 miles.  You'll notice I forgot to drop my ISO back down after shooting the night before--oops!

Just down the street from where we were staying was a giant field that filled with deer and elk every evening.  I took this out the window of the car and the light was so low, I couldn't help getting a lot of blur.

With some family in town, we took a walk down the strip and this is inside Crystals.  It's a really cool restaurant that kind of floats above the first story.  I didn't have any gear with me so this didn't come out very sharp, but I liked the composition.  I should have bumped the ISO up to speed up the shutter, but I didn't want to slow everyone else down while I was making adjustments.

Downtown Wallace is quite scenic in Northern Idaho as it is nestled in a valley surrounded by green mountains.  Some may recognize this as the town where Dante's Peak was filmed.
