The second week in August we flew to Redmond, Oregon to meet with my wife's family for 4 days at Eagle Crest Resort. Each morning we would go out and hike, which gave me a shot to get some photography in. The first morning we just did a light hike up a hill inside the resort. This shot is from the top of our hike where we were able to see 7 peaks. Mt. Hood was the furthest away, but it was also the biggest.

This shot was taken about halfway up our hike. I am still undecided on it. I wish I would have taken with at f/18 or so to see if I could have made the branches more in focus.

I like the picture that is all framed. I am just not sure that the mountain is living up to it.
